Utilities

Gas

The property's central heating and hot water are provided via gas, which is cheaper than via electric.

Electricity

The property's oven and hot water in the downstairs shower room are provided via electricity. Please note that the tumble-drier is by far the most energy-hungry appliance in the house to run - you will save money by hanging clothes outside to dry. DO NOT hang clothes to dry in the house, paricularly not on radiators, as this may cause condensation damage. Tenants will be billed for any condensation removal required.

Water and Sewerage

The house's water and sewerage are unmetered, which is typically cheaper than metered supplies for larger households or heavier water users (such as is usually the case in shared houses). Tenants are NOT to have a water meter installed without the landlord's prior written permission.

Phone

The property is physically connected to the phone network, although upkeep of a phone line is not included in the rent. Tenants may arrange for phone services to be provided through whichever provider they prefer at their own expense.

TV, Cable and Satellite

The house is well equipped with:

Please note that a TV licence must be purchased by the tenants. Cable and satellite services are not included in the rent and may be disconnected when you move in. Tenants may arrange these services through whichever provider they prefer at their own expense.
